FSYS Game
Every card is an action. Save seeds πΎ. Build compost β»οΈ. Restore biodiversity π. Shorten food chains π. Advocate for your land π£. Players donβt just learn the concepts they practice them in the real world.
Our first Expansion Kit has been co-created with and published under the CGIAR Science Program on Multifunctional Landscapes, led by the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIATΒ and features Agroecology principles, Multifunctional Landscape themes and the Sustainable Development Goals.
fsys has been cooperatively developed since June 2025 as a ‘Collective Card Game’ and Open Educational Resource (OER). This narrative gamification ecosystem is cultivated within a living labβa shared commons driven by a value-aligned, multi-stakeholder network of contributors, including youth participants from co-design playshops across the African and European continents.

Call for Partnerships. For the fresh development start of our foodβsystem cookingβtransformer game expansion we are scouting for potential partners. Cooking techniques, nutrition, and planetary health are the next three value sets we are passionate about translating into an engaging, open, collective card game for fun, realβworld action and education.Β
Agroecology principles, multi-fun-ctional landscape themes, and the Sustainable Development Goals build the three value sets we have explored in our collaboration with the Alliance Biodiversity International & CIAT, and our recently OpenβAccess published *Food Heroes* Expansion Set.Β
Now we want to focus on the delicious part and the culinary art of foodβsystem transformation and expand our 60βcard collection with another analogue 60βplusβcard set, including comics, digital addβons, and facilitator guides centered around cooking, nutrition, and planetary health for schools, homes, and clubs.
For this fresh development quest we are currently scouting the potential βmycelium networkβ of science, gameβdesign, education, and funding partners.Β Β If you resonate or might know/tag fitting connections, we are happy to get to know you and explore our possibility space.
